Our team
Our friendly, skilled team at Kirkland Dental Smile is dedicated to making every visit comfortable, personalized, and focused on your smile.
As one of Dr. Kang’s dental hygienists, I bring over 23 years of experience and a passion for prevention-focused care. A proud graduate of Shoreline’s dental hygiene program, I’ve served in leadership roles within the Washington Dental Hygienists’ Association for more than a decade. I love collaborating with patients to improve oral and systemic health through education, screenings, and personalized care.
Outside the office, I enjoy beach walks, fitness, reading, cooking, and sharing movie marathons and conventions with my husband. We’re also proud cat parents to Thor and Loki — our playful pair of troublemakers.
I am part of the front office team at Dr. Teresa Kang's office. My background in the dental field has encompassed a variety of roles over the past 20+ years, from dental lab technician to dental assistant to a front office role. I love the quality of care that we are able to provide our patients at every level and take pride in being a part of this team.
When not at work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors hiking, camping, and backpacking. However, my greatest joy is playing and coaching football for the Seattle Majestics, a local women's professional football team.
I am one of the dental hygienists on Dr. Kang’s team! Originally from Connecticut, I relocated to the beautiful PNW in 2015 to explore the outdoors, coinciding with the start of my career in dentistry. I graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology right here in Kirkland. Dr. Kang is an excellent dentist. I admire her attention to detail, care for our patients, and focus on the correlation between oral health and overall health.
Marvin is a graduate of Shoreline Community College with nearly 25 years of dental experience. Before entering the dental field, he served 13 years in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and flight engineer, traveling the world and serving in the first Gulf War. He has worked alongside leading periodontists and later returned to Shoreline College as a clinical instructor, helping students refine their hygiene skills. Outside the office, Marvin enjoys RV travel, motorcycling, skiing, and exploring new places.

Our dental office is located in the Totem Lake neighborhood of Kirkland just of I-405 with ample parking. We are located to serve the dental needs for families who live in Kirkland and the surrounding areas of Bothell, Redmond, Bellevue, Woodinville and Seattle. We take great pride in our beautiful office. Dr. Kang and her design team had our patients in mind when the office was done where children and adults feel welcome. We wanted to create and friendly and caring environment where our patients whole family enjoy coming to.
